Gamban, which makes software that blocks access to gambling websites, has warned its users about possible confusion with Gambana, an online casino operated by JJam Holdings Ltd. The similarity between the two names was found to be confusing for people who are trying to stay away from gambling.

No business relationship

Gamban has stated that it has no business relationship with Gambana. The company advised users to check website addresses carefully and, if they are unsure whether they have been using the right service, to contact its support team through official channels.

It also asked anyone who visited Gambana by mistake, believing they were using Gamban, to come forward, and said it is working to resolve the confusion.

Other recent Gamban activity

Gamban has recently shared recovery-focused content on social media, including a user's personal story and information on urge surfing. It has also signed a sponsorship deal for the 2026/2027 season with Lewes FC, a semi-professional English club that has campaigned against gambling advertising. Earlier in 2026, it partnered with Michigan's gambling regulator to help players self-exclude.
